I know most of you are in Phx, but I am putting this out for a friend of mine. Please keep an eye out, altho I am sure it went south, not north

His truck was stolen in Tucson, Wednesday night, from Rusty's Bar.

It is a 1995 Chevy Silverado 4x4 1500.
Color is green and gold, top of paint above windshield has begun to get sun damaged.
Has a 4x4 sticker on drivers side, not on passengers side. Truck has a bug deflector on the hood, steps on each side (not a stepside
truck, just has the step under the doors). Has two stickers on rear window. One is "Old Town" from the Old Town Canoe company, the other says "Maineiacs" from a air refueling wing back in Maine.

Other than that truck is pretty stock, no lift, regular tires, 5 speed manual transmission, Alpine head unit. Interior is light brown in color.

License plate #089 FLX(arizona plate).

Again, please keep an eye out, and hopefully, we can find his rig.

Hmmmmm....Cheby,90 miles from the border,in a state overrun with illegals.I betcha the Chief of Police in Sonora is the proud new owner.I hate to say it,but I don't think he'll see it again.Hopefully,he has full coverage insurance.

He does, and I appreciate your stating the obvious. Just trying to be optimistic.

Look on the bright side.Book value is higher than actual value on these trucks.He can get a nicer truck than the one had for as much or less.If he goes a year newer,he can get a Vortec.If I were him,I wouldn't want my chit back.The idea of all the damage some idiot is probably doing to his rig is enough to make you pray it doesn't show up at the impound lot.I had a new Eldorado stolen several years ago.The cops called me 4 days later and told me they found it.To this day I wish they hadn't.That mofo was pure junk after that.

According to a mutual friend, it was found in a field in Kentucky. I have yet to talk to Steve to get the details.

...and seriously, they found my buddies truck in a field in Kentucky. He doesn't know what the insurance co. is gonna do, but it needs to have estimates for damages, etc, before any decisions have been made.

The shipping cost alone would be more than any 14 year old Chebby pickemup I've ever seen is worth. I think he's getting a settlement.
