OK, well this looks like a weird family tree. So Nissan Diesel made the SD22. I'm not sure if had much to do with Nissan, but everywhere I look the SD22 is attributed to Nissan. However, this might be people thinking that Nissan Diesel is Nissan. The Wikipedia article is not clear. I am gonna try to find out more information on this because my interest is peaked.
