I've compared the Thorley headers side by side with the Pacesetters. I'll give you the Thorley's are a better product, but I've had Pacesetters on my 3.0 for about 3 years now with no problems whatever...other then they are blocking my access to my starter. But I think any header will.

I've never seen the Thorley's, or any other than the Pacesetters on Thanatoz's rig, but I wouldn't buy any header that made it impossible to replace the starter without removing the header. That's rediculous.
That ain't how they work on other vehicles is all I can say. I'd stay with manifolds if that was my only option.

Gator,

No, unless someone comes up with some sort of pretzel-knot shorty header, any header for the 3.3 will displace the upper/primary cats. The 03-04 models got a different manifold and cat setup that moves the cat a few inches downstream, but it also appears that the manifold and cat became a one-piece unit (or is at least sold as such) so even though there's a bit more room between the block and cat, the manifold can't be removed on its own to allow a shorty header to connect to the cat.

They had to be for the 4 cylinder because Nismo didn't make them for the 3.3 unless they are for the new Frontier 4.0 or whatever it is.

They are for a V6, or for two of the new 3cyl motors. Wink

The ports didnt look all that large. They are up at Lamb Nissan near Walmart. If your out that way and want to check them out. In the waiting room on the wall acroos from the pay counter right next to the door leading to the service floor.

Might be for the 4.0 I have no idea. Had Nismo on the side. Ive got to go back to the dealer sometime this week if I do Ill get more info.
