Research the coverage areas. They may show a coverage map of your area on their website. The coolest phone going or the cheapest plan is useless if you can't get service where you need it.

Verizon has the best nationwide coverage of all the wireless providers at this time. As a Verizon client I have never been without service anywhere in the continental U.S. I would recommend Verizon to anyone.

I have buddy who had t-mobile and he always had trouble with reception. He would have to go outside his home in San Diego for his phone to work. He finally switched to Verizon and now he can receive and send calls from within the confines of his home all the way to and from Iowa and beyond.

T-Mobile blows, from what a friend tells me. I'm very happy with Altell, very few dropped calls and excellent customer service.

I have had T-mobile, and their coverage blows down here. Switched to Verizon, and have much better coverage. They have good plans too.
