IFS refers to Independent Front Suspension. It s the opposite of a SFA (Solid Front Axle) IFS allows the front wheels to move up & down independently of each other where as a SFA will have allow one front wheel to affect the other as it goes through it's motion.

Welcome to the site. There is plenty of help here to get you started.

IFS= independent front suspension meaning you dont have a solid axle up front. i know nothing about 720's but all pathy's and HB's came stock w/ IFS

Well if you have any more abbreviation questions, you let me know....I love filling people in on ANYTHING!!!! lol...for instance, IFS = you know, IRS = Independant Rear Supsension, SAS = Solid Axle Swap(ped), SSA = Solid Swapped Axle, SFA = Solid/Swapped Front Axle, TRE = Tie Rod End, M/Ts = Mud Terrain Tires,... Later...
BTW (= By The Way lol)...did'ya ever notice how if you say "swap" over and over again....it retains NO meaning whatsoever, and you lose ALL concept of the word?????? lol Later...
