I picked up JerryLee from the Vet today after his neuter and they had to put a cone on his neck to prevent him from chewing out his stiches. He was on pain meds, but as usual pretty hyper. I quickly gave him a seditive and had to check his pulse on the way home to make sure he was okay. The dog was so out of it when he got out of the Q he just fell on the ground. I have to lead him around by his neck cone so he can make it around to drink water and pee....it is so pathetic, but cute.

Our female was just done yesterday to. She is a trooper no pain meds but is still pretty tired.

It is no longer cute. I have been up every hour at night since Saturday because he has the runs. When he is awake he s hyper as can be and I can't exercise him because of his stiches.

It must take longer for the males to heal our female has been up and around for the last couple days with now problems. The pain meds are probably whats giving him the runs. The only thing we have given her is one buffer asprin to help ease the pain.
