Steve, I will bring them over when I have a moment. So Final Cut will work with .mov files or do you have a converter? Just wondering so I can look at buying software in the future.

BitTorrent will allow you to send big files really easy. I personally use Micro Torrent for downloading but have also used it just to share files with a friend. Create your own torrent and send them that tiny file they'll then be able to transfer the file using micro torrent as well.

Final cut will take almost anything you can throw at it. Its a kick ass program. The full version costs 1k but there is Final Cut express runs $300. However, unless you have an Apple, it wont work for you.

He's right. Final Cut is an Apple only program suite. Converting from Quicktime mov to Windows media and back is a pain. I've yet to find a decent open source converter that actually works well. All the really good video software is pricey. For Windows you'd be looking at Adobe products like Premiere or Sony's Vegas. The Linux junk is junk unless you use nothing else. I'll have to speed test the rotation feature in Final Cut on our new uber Mac with your mov's to get you something you can work with right side sideways.

If Microsoft would let MovieMaker handle mov's they could bury Apple in the video processing space. *.wmv beats *.mov for clarity and size EVERY time. Unfortunately it loses for portability even more often than that.

I purchased the MOVAVI Video Converter, works great for joining and converting movie files. Then I import them into Movie Maker and finish my project.

Thanks for the offer though.
