Hey guys, having a brain fart, and I can't remember.

I have 3.75" backspacing on my wheels now. If I went with a 4.0" backspacing wheel, would my tires stick out 1/4" more, or tuck in 1/4"???

My current wheels are 15x8, the beadlocks are 15x8.5

After whoring around on the net, I answered my own question. Found this cool website that tells exaclty how to measure it, and gives a backspace conversion chart... wheel info.

It looks like my tires will sit in the same place as they do now with the mud tires and beadlocks. Woot! Chug

If they were the same width, they would tuck in 1/4". Less backspacing = more stick out.

The question is not where the tires will sit but if the calipers will clear with that backspacing on a 15" wheel?
Lator....
