Ok.. I found this "kit" out there for Jeepers'..

Thought it was pretty funny that someoune would drop $11K into their jeep just to make it trail worthy..

That's an awful lot of money...but, I suppose it's not really that bad of a deal considering the price you would pay buying it all separately.

They've got Nissan ARB Lockers for $699. Big Grin

Try again. The first time I clicked, it didn't work, said it couldn't be found. I clicked it again and it loaded.

IF YOU THINK ABOUT ALL THE THING YOU ADD TO THE NISSAN'S THEN LOOK AT THE PRICE THAT ISN'T TO BAD TO PAY TO HAVE SUPER 30 AND THE SUPER 44 KIT WITH ALL SKIDS.

Yep.. thats how I found this site...

I just found it funny that if I buy a 6 year old jeep for 10K (if I'm lucky to find one at that price) then dump in another $11K just to get it up to speed..

I mean $hit.. I might as well buy an 2007 Rubicon.. Smile

BTW - When your done spending 11K then heres the next kit for 6K Smile

HOLY CRAP.

For $11K I could pay a 4x4 shop to throw a solid axle up my HB with a exo cage.

For another 5K I would have my whole interior tricked.

I thought Nissan stuff was expensive. Jeep guys must be out of their minds.<- Not trying to offend fellow board members.

I'm surprised I missed this thread earlier. After the long arm upgrade and new 35's and wheels, I'll have about $16,000 in my sheep above the purchase price of $12,000. Hey nobody says the aftermarket is cheap--just lots and lots of stuff available for sheeps. My advice is to buy a 3 year old Rubicon, long arm it and be done with it!

..

... Many members on the Nissan forums have sheeps. I have two Jeeps and my ‘99 Frontier. But a couple of years ago I spotted a Nissan Hard Body with a Jeep tail gate.
... The last two years we’ve gone to the Ouray Full Size Jeep Invasion in our Frontier and both times I’ve thought about installing a Jeep tail gate. smiley47

Have a good one and “Jeep on a Sheep!” CUL.. Don S..

A jeep with that kit would kick most of these nissans butts.

Guys... these are some great comments..

Most of them are correct..

I'm not putting jeeps down by no means... I just find in amazing how much ($$$) you could put into ANY 4x4.

The kit above is a sweet one... Wish we could get parts like this.. but alas we fewer options..

Finally got home so I could take a look at that ad. What you have there is nearly exactly what my sheep will look like when I install the same RE longarm setup this fall. $11K for everything listed is a killer deal! I've spent more so far but that includes professional labor to build and set up my axles/lockers (turnkey job) and I have a Teralow 4:1 t-case (plus the labor to install). When you factor those in--I'm pretty close. Don't kid yourselves on capabilities. A SAS'd Nissan with gears, lockers, lift and tires will go anywhere a built sheep will go. I'm convinced it's 50% equipment, 50% driver and 50% trail! Cool

Give me that much money and we'll talk about kicken butt. Hell give me half that much money.

I honestly don't think I have more than 3k into my truck and that includes quite a bit of maintenance.....whoops forgot about the manual conversion, $1100 more there.
