Yeah, I took my learners permit test online. It beats the hell out of standing in line for three hours but when you take your DL test you have to be there. You have to take a written test and then take a drive with the Instructor. I'm sure you have to do that everywhere though.

hows that oldy smiley40 lol

You're judged by what you show people.

True true. But, this is the internet. I would rather be judged in person.

I'm not beating on anyone. Merely pointing out the obvious. Using the Internet as an excuse is like using alcohol as an excuse.

im not baggin on justin, but i will say this...seems that after i got my licence things got really lax (at least here in texas). i think they stopped requiring the actual driving CLASS..i never saw my lil bro doing it. also, they started letting parents administer the driving test. they parents are supposed to make sure their kid drives X ammount of hours and they they can just go take their test. i knew several that maybe got their kid behind the wheel for an hour..or never and just signed everything off. i still had to attend class and drive with an instructor before i even got my permit.

Yeah when I got my permit I only need to have it for 5 months and required driving for 25 hours, and 5 hours at night. My parents just had to sign a paper saying I did that and PRESTO I could take my DL test.

And people wonder why AZ has crappy drivers.

When I had my permit I drove as much as I possibly could. I drove my stepdads 5-speed as much as I could as well. I had to have logged like 400 hours of driving in 5 months easy.

Geeeez like over five years ago I had my son drive, drive, drive. Boy was he nervous.

I remember the look when I told him to get on the freeway.

Total terror.

I think it should be much much much harder to get and keep a license.

Muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh harder.

Oh and no rap music while you fill up your tank at the gas station too please.

Red Face

Meh.
