I'm old.

MRI on the knees this week. Tear in the right medial meniscus and Chondromalacia in both knees.

MRI on the shoulder that has been hurting is severe arthritis that has displaced a tendon in my shoulder.

And I got a crown this week.

I'm officially old..... Bawl

Meh.

Good food( and supplements) are cheaper than doctors. 11dohI should admit, though, that I have a cadaver ligament in my left knee from old trauma(skiiing and motorcycles).

A good read is ," There is a Cure For Arthritis", by Paavo O. Airola, N.D.

DOn't forget the COSAMIN DS and OMega3's.

If/when you go in for arthroscopic surgery, please consider just getting a "spinal" instead of full-blown "knocked-out" anesthetic.

DOcotrs like to play games and fugh around. If you're awake- they will tend to get down to business and stay concentrated on the task at hand while the supervisor(you) is watching them.

I got this advice from an emergency room nurse w/ years of experience in the operating room.

PLus, full anesthetic is not a good thing for the body. Depresseds the immune system over time and repeated "knock-outs".

Just something(s) to consider.

me ,a contrairian? hell yes.

I know how you feel. I have to get both knees fixed. I don't wanna.

My cousin is in bed right now. At first the doctor thought it was the meniscus, but it was actually something worse and he's in bed for three days...so he bought a Xbox 360. He'll be using crutches for 4-6 weeks.

I can't even remember that far back.

Old, yea, been there, felt that! You're all still pups, maybe JR and Senior can call me a kid (sorry, only guessing), but they are about the only ones. Heck, I now have 10, count them, 10 grandkids!

Heck, I'm so old I just paid Desert Rat in Tempe to put on my stainless steel rear brake line!

lol. Sometimes I feel old when I cant do what I could when I was 18-19, only get 3-4 hours of sleep and work a 15hr shift.

However I'm not stating my age. I'm probably the youngest active member on the Forum. I have learned wisdom comes with age. I use proper personal protective equipment at work now. 3-4 years ago I never did.

I'm not looking forward to my senior years. Due to a motorcycle accident, I already have the joints of an 80 year old woman and I'm only 24. Can only imagine how much worse it will get. 3 surgeries so far on one elbow, pretty sure I'll go under the knife for my shoulders at some point too.

We might be in a tie for the youngest members. Just a 23 year old young pup, trying to learn by observing and asking stupid questions when possible.
