I was thinking about buying this compressor, and using a 5 gal tank mounted under the bed of the truck. I was going to plumb a hard line to the back of the truck, where I can hook up an air hose, or air tools.

I have the Viar 450 and it seems to do the job. I have 10 gallons of tank reserve and is not enough to break my lug nuts loose. I had my (2)5 gallon tanks mounted where my spare was, but I have moved them to the bed. Good luck.

I think for $50 the Tsunami Compressor is just as good. It's the one that peeps were raving about a year back that was on asale for 25$ in your parts.
