I had a 4 or 5 quart jug of used oil turn over and spill in the back of my Xterra a few years ago. That sucked. Ruined the cargo protector and the carpet underneath. If I hadn't cut the holes for the tie-downs in the protector I might have gotten away with it.
If it were anyone else, this might be surprising, but I had a spare carpet ----------------------------------- When did you last check your spare tire's pressure? |

x2 on the oil change places.
Blitz has a new 3 gal oil container I use. It's not a oil pan, just a 3gl jug you take to recycling. I droop the oil in a normal oil pan the poor into the jug. haven't any problems yet. However I'm going to adapt reddog's 6gl gas can method. I change most of the oil in my family. oil gathers up very fast. Someone mentioned their friend has heater which runs off of motor oil. Those things are really nice for a shop. When I finally buy me a place I'm getting one of those heaters. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |
