Well, I have them installed.

License Plate bracket (protector, frame and bracket) cost about $18. I bought the clamps that go around chain link fence post to clamp to the frame, unscrew the screw, plate flips up and back and out of the way for wheeling.

Mud Flaps, got at Pep Boys for $17, metal bar and L-shaped bracket got at Home Depot for $8. One bolt takes the Flaps off for wheeling.

Well??

Well, now you can secretly flip off every traffic cop, like I do, and laugh at the other trucks that you will see (trust me), pulled over, without flaps Wink

EDIT: I absolutely love Sugar Bear. She is an adorable pup. I love Golden Retrievers.

Hmmmm... I think I should talk to my local representative and ask him to change the wording on the law from "any lifted pickup" to "any lifted vehicle". I don't think anyone would oppose the safety issues. Laugh now buddy, while you can...

If you complained about it, the only outcome would be that they would include all vehicles.

It's there for a reason, some of us just lucked out and our rigs aren't listed as "trucks".

Yes, they do look good. They give the truck a sort of Peterbilt look. Razz

Here's a thought: get one of those chrome girls, cut her in half, and put a half on each flap. Potentially hysterical. Wink
It would be similar to T's "Got" "Milk?" flaps.
