You can't use those on the road. They may be "OK" for a front drive shaft that never sees anything over 15mph but anything higher than that is going to shake the sh*t out of the truck.

I've run the BAMF joint on my bronco, baja'd it up to 50mph and it was fine with minimal vibs at speeds.

The CALMINI HB SAS runs that CV also and it works great, don't recall any vib problems.

The high angle stuff cost a lot more, I just want something that's more reliable/stronger than the standard stuff that is ground down/weaken too much or something?

I've said it a million times before, so once again. Drop the 1310 stock Ford stuff, and get Toyota long spline stuff. You can buy a Yota cv shaft, send it to Jesse, have it long splined, and get his d44 yota flange and his custom Yota to Nissan tcase flange, and your done. You won't break it, and the degree of angle is awsome, doesn't need to be grinded on for more angle ability. Then buy a second one, cut it up, make a square tube shaft for a back up, not that you will use it, but they are cheap, available everywhere, and strong as hell.

Is there something special about that particular CV joint that causes vibs? CV driveshafts are popular with the Landcruiser crowd, no issues. Full-time 4wd. That joint looks very similar to what's in my truck.
