Nope. You're the only one who's daring to try that stunt. Hope you don't value your paint or body.

I have been trying HARD to eat right and excercise... Tonight for dinner, I had a big salad, some Taquitos, and water. I have also been walking 2 miles when I get home from work every day. The dog is starting to dislike walks, lol

My goal is to get down to at least 240 by the time our homeymoon comes - in May. We want to go to Hawaii, so I wanna look decent, instead of the heffer I am now smiley26

OK, guys. I'm thinking of reconfiguring the whole run. I'm certain we'll be dealing with a larger group this year, and these changes would be good to keep the groups to reasonable size.

For days 1-4, we split into two groups, each with a trail leader. Mud Springs is a 2 day ordeal. One day in, one day out. Log Corral and FR393 should also be a two day run.

Group 1 runs Log Corral/FR393 on Day 1 and Day 2
Group 2 runs Mud Springs on Day 1 and Day 2

On day's 3 and 4, we switch.

On night 2, everyone meets back and stays at base camp.

On nights 4 and 5, again, we're all at base camp.

Day 5 - the entire group runs Sunflower. It's a fairly short trail, which gets us back in time for the St. Patricks day party and cabbage punting.

Day 6, we run the coves on the way back to town.

Before I update the official itinerary, I want feedback from the group.

On another note, Mud springs is NOT for full size or unlocked vehicles. It's a VERY hard core trail for the last 2 miles and to the campsite. Those running lesser vehicles can park at the bottom of the big hill on the way in and jump in with someone else, carrying only bare necessities to camp. Minimum requirements for this one are 32"+ tires, at least a rear locker, and Tcase gears if running a manual trans. Trust me, you'll need this. A fullsize will get heavy body damage on the big hill. (Brent, your K5 might make the squeeze, but anything longer is gonna get crunched bad). There's a tight squeeze around a volkswagen sized boulder that will likely scrape even some of the smaller vehicles.

I'm also hoping we can have a camp guard at base camp, so on nights 1 and 3 where the groups are at the spike camps, we can run lighter and leave things like fuel cans, etc. at the base camp.

Feedback please.

Is there going to be some kind of optional trail runs for those who don't want to run Mud Springs? Kind of like we had this year for those who didnt want/weren't capable of running some of the more difficult trails.

I'm pretty sure that I'm out on this one, but I should be there for 8! Big Grin

Well is there going to be alternet trails, there is alot of trucks that want to come but not up to these trails.

What are other trails that are out that way?
I have found 4 peaks and reno(closed due to fire damage a year ago)

Update on Bushnell tanks area: if there is a dry spell, and a repair crew goes in to fix all the washout it will be reopened, as per the ranger I spoke with. not this year but he saids by march, it should be open. What that area needs is vegitation.
