Wow that busted 3rd is nasty. That reminds me of the "fall guy" tv show. Where they used to jump the Chevy 20' in the air every show. lol

Its always good to have Keith around with the mobile shop. Wink

My Mobile shop wasn't much help with that busted center chunk. It was nearly impossible to weld and cracked immediatly after the weld or when any stress was applied. The tubes were easy to weld too, though.

Well, I found new carnage - a leaking rear diff. Can't tewll if it's the pumkin plate, or the drain plug. Since Saturday it looks to have leaked about a 1/4 cup. Not something I noticed last week, it took a dry & clean piece of land to see.

3 out of 4 wheels on my truck are no longer vertical.

I'm hoping I can bring the fronts back in line by winding the torsion bars down a little. I can't really get it aligned until I fix the bent up Calmini steering Frown

It must have been a nice wack to bend that idler arm...WOW.

You think you bent the axle tube in the rear?

It was the idler arm bracket that bent, the bottom got pushed up and a little to the driver's side when it landed on a rock. The idler arm is a brick, no harm there. The bushing was already toast. I'm not sure what's up with the back wheel yet.

Dent behind rear passanger door, and both the rear fender covers are scratched good.

Then there was the motor mount and the brand new front drive Warn Hub...(don't know what happened to that picture), and one blown sidewall.

Other than that, when I pulled out of camp, everyone could here my upper control arms squeaking badly, so I will be replacing those bushings and the Idler Arm bushing in the coming week. Then I need an alignment.

Aside from the busted shackle bolt, I've got a nice new rock rash on the cab behind the passenger door, continuing onto the bed.

DL has a nice ding in the left rear door and a half removed fender trim ring.

Did a front to rear check of everything. Front locker didn't fail during the trip, but does have a major leak, smelling some oil and will be checked this week to see where it's coming from. Mass amounts of scrapes and dents in front bumper (thanks for backing up Ivan torch) skid plates, spring hangers and sliders. Sway bar bushings and one bracket is shot and all tires have major damage, surprised they still hold air. Now I have an excuse to move up to 33s and go to 16" rock crawlers.
