The run encouraged me to finally break in my welder. Spent a few hours running some beads and welding (FCAW) some plate together with .035 inner shield wire. I've got the the gas and wire for GMAW but I didn't want to waste it practicing. I took a few pictures but I need to find a place to host them. I'm tired of using cardomain.
Now that I welded most of my scrap together, it's time to break out the plasma cutter and turn it back into pieces so I can weld it together again.
My schedule for the next few months is going to keep me away from home a lot but I'm trying to get some more stuff done on my truck so I can hit the local trails with you guys.

..................... "Climate change is no longer science. It's politics... Climate change is also about power. Power to control.... It's about who gets to decide: how much energy we will have... where that energy will come from... what it will cost... It's about simulations, scenarios and monsters conjured up by computer models that should never be used to chart government policy -- especially on matters that will profoundly affect our livelihoods, living standards, life spans and dreams of a better future.
"So hold onto your wallets, and hope you can hold onto your homes, cars and jobs. You're about to be put on a wild political roller coaster."
