I'd like to stop by, even if only for a short time. Maybe I will have my truck highway worth by then.

I'll be there, Robin.

Can I bring anything tool-wise to help out? I have an extra set of jackstands, and a transmission jack that you can borrow for the build.

What wheels are you going to be running? Just found out today that my new Pro Comp Extreme wheels will not fit. The diameter of the hub hole is not large enough. And the LEGO wheels do not have enough backspacing. So either I need new 16" wheels to move my 35" tires to, or sell both sets I have and just get a new set.

Suggestions?

Pro Comp Extreme 16" Wheels are mounted with 35" Goodyear MRT's,

Lego 15" wheels are mounted with 33" BFG MT's.

Yeah Robin, whacha usin?

I went with US Wheel 84 series part number 5860L to clear my D44 calipers. They have 3.75" or 4" of backspacing (depending on who you ask) and clear the calipers by less than 1/2". These are 15x8 black steel.

Sorry for the post jack.

I know you guys like black steelies... but if I am spending $5K on a SAS lift and have $7-10K overall in performance additions, I want nice wheels. I really like the look of the Pro Comp Extreme wheels I had purchased, but if I must change, I will probably go with the Rock Crawler Series 152's. But should I get 15" and just sell my Pro Comp's with the 35" MTR's?

Hmmm... just talked to 4wheelparts and the 16" wheels don't have the backspace needed, they recommend going with 15".

I just don't like black.

Well, good thing I bought a Google Contract on Oct. 17 for $3100 and sold it today for $7000, so I guess I have some money to draw on. Got to love options trading!!!!

Sorry for the post jack....

These are the wheels I will be selling

Well, my entire truck is nice, I care when I dent or damage anything, at least wheels can be replaced, body work takes more doing. Axles or CV's cost more than the wheels, yet I don't care about them, well I do but you get the drift. Why do you only care if your wheels get damaged?

Plus, CHICK's dig scars!

Maybe when my truck looks fxckxd up, I won't care what it looks like and put cheap stuff on.

Before you jump on me... I know, it's all a matter of preference, most of you guys like the looks of black steelies! And you like the way they look. I won't judge you, I just like turning heads when I do drive it on the street.

Can you tell I am having a bad day at work.... everyone wants to argue with me (and I know I am right!) lol

I know that my truck is way past this point. Its not that I dont care about my wheels, but the type and number trails that my (and other trucks) have been on means that there is inevidably going to be damage....period. I dont cheap out on parts where it counts, but to me, the wheels just arent one of those parts.
