In the unlikely event you didn't know.
I recommend going even if you don't off-road. The area was almost completly burned in last years Horse fire. It's not pretty, but you can see things that are normally covered by vegetation.

Aaron - good to see an east bay guy on here...I grew up in Castro Valley but have since moved to San Diego.
