Allright, since it took a few of us to regroup in AZ, it's time to start wheeling here again.

Some places I would like to check out are Johnson valley & Death valley before it becomes too hot.

We were also talking about a holcomb/john bull weekender in the very near future.

Who's in? I was thinking in 2-3 weeks? I'm out on 4/9.

Post up!

Y'all have fun! If you plan something far out, maybe we can come. We are booked for April though.

Johnson valley is no place to be in the dead of summer. Can you say "Mojave Desert"? I knew you could.

Whatever Duerk, your pathy keeps up with everything, especially with those 35's that you mashed into there. smiley32

Seriously, come out and play. You wouldn't believe how I opted out of some obstacles because they were to off-camber for me (not the truck). I'm still trying to get use to it.

For smaller day runs there is also Bronco Peak (Lake Morena), Lawrence Welk trails, and Truck Haven. Too bad Los Coyotes is closed. SDORC does an annual run at "Superstition Mountain". From what I have seen in the pics there isn't much to see but the trails run from easy to gnarly.

I would be down for a Death Valley or Big Bear run. All dates are open at this time. We need to run the desert before it gets too hot. AC or not, it is still too F-ing hot in the summer!

I see, got the fever now Chug

Consider more seat time for you & the mess on the rocks before you take on the JV trails. Work you way up and be prepared for body damage Wink

DVNP is great & one of my favorites places, although the wheelin’ is not all the challenging unless you hit some of the side canyon’s in the Panamints. Still snow around so another month or so should be ideal.

Holcomb/Jbull are also fun, but have some storm erosion/damage and there are a couple of really crazy off-camber dives & spots that need to be repaired not to mention the snow melt.

I’m thinking about heading back to Stoddard Wells OHV and taking Pumpkin eater, Achy Breaky and a few others I know about near the end of April if you're intrested? we should get Terrance to go also to have a another winch.

Yeah, I'm still needing seat time before I'll consider the hammers. Body damage...no sweat. Flopping off an off-camber 200 ft. shelf road, uh yeah, that one still scares the sh!t out of me.

By the end of the AZ run I was much more comfortable with the off camber angles 'the mess' would handle. Still not sure how far it will go before she tumbles Smile Also having bumpstops and shocks in place helps too. Smile

The 9th is out for me and so is this coming weekend well, maybe. I need to help Robin put in his new gas tank. He dented it pretty good. However, if everything goes well, we could get it in Saturday and go wheel Sunday.

Who's in for Sunday, and where? Holcomb comes to mind. That one is fun with a couple of obstacles to play on? Anywhere else fellas?

Glad to see you planning some wheeling, brian. Smile

BTW, what did everyone think of the mess when it returned home again?

I wouldn't have you build my truck to be a street queen Big Grin

Everyone thought it was pretty cool...and most people that can almost grasp what you have done was VERY impressed by the work. Especially here at the house. They witnessed the mess first hand and were very impressed at how well everything came back together. Smile My friends love it. They like to go ride in the 'monster truck' lol

People at work, uh yeah, they don't get me lol They thought it was tall and didn't understand why I would do that to my truck. Big Grin Mostly family types here. Lots of mom's. They don't get my whole surf, snowboard, wheeling, outdoorsy crap I like to do. They just scratch their heads.

Ok you butt slugs Big Grin post up, who's wheeling on Sunday?

I'm thinking something mild-moderate like holcomb up at Big Bear. Unless somebody's got a better suggestion. Just a nice day out wheeling to big hoopla.

I'll post for Robin and Joel. I'm making you guys go.

Chuck, put those skids on, park the navy boat and roll out. Smile

Chris, T, Jim? andybody?
