Off-Road Warrior |
Anyone going to the Off-Road Business Association Supershow this weekend at Barona? I'll be there at least one day to check out the vendors, got to be better than the shows that 4WP puts on. Worldwide Auto Parts has coupons for $5 off admission.
Also, wanted to share a few things I found during my SAS. Industrial Liquidators. Don't know the address exactly but it is on Convoy accross from Dixiline. Small place but good selection of brake fittings and brake lines, both 3-AN and 4-AN. Thanks to Bille for turning me on to them. Boarder Parts. Located in Spring Valley, it's a mom & pop place with a huge inventory of Jeep drivetrain parts, good if you are using a Waggy axle. They do gear/locker setup and make custom driveshafts. They will only do gear setup on axles that are stripped. Mashall's Industrial Hardware. On Production Ave. behind the Crazy Buffet. A great selection of fasteners both standard and metric, stainless, grade 8 (10.9), and all kinds of cool stuff. All kinds of tools. They even carry a small stock of D.O.M. and weld-in threaded fasteners but not the size I needed. Also, prefab weld-on tabs and gussets. If you live in the area, I recommend you check them out. www.marshalshardware.com K-Surplus Sales. Located in South Bay on Cleveland Avenue in National City, they sell surplus junk, mostly industrial fasteners lower than grade 8. I go there because they sell SAE grade 8 fastners by the pound and they are only about a mile from where I work. Anyone know where I can get 1.25 x .219 D.O.M. stuff locally? I shouldn't need any for a long time but a local source might come in handy. Anyone in the San Diego area have anything to share? |

For the South Bay, no. I get all my steel up here in El Cajon.
