Just like every AZ run, you bring whatever you need to survive out of your truck for a week.

Figured you'd read the run descriptions of runs past.

Go into any of the previous run forums for lists of suggested things to bring.

Pack as if you were going alone. Even with shared meals, shared grills, and so on, everyone should be capable of being entirely self sufficient. It's better packed and never used, than never packed, and desperately needed.

don't overdue it on food...I did last Run and had half of it left over when I came home! Also packing of food should be important, we didn't think about this last year. Result was a bunch of garbage bags of food in the back of my truck! Lot's of munchies are good....and if you like to drink then plan on most of the room in cooler for beer! In fact cooler food not to much of a go in my opinion, especially meat. Spoils way to fast or gets funky from the stank water in the cooler. Dried fruits, jerky, nuts, energy bars and stuff like that go a long ways. I also packed to much water so this year will only be bringing a 5gal can of water and carry my purifyier to top it off at rivers/streams/lakes.

Looks like Stew may be coming with me again this year. He just landed a new job on a 450ft. boat and has March/April off!

i started a "what to bring" thread last year.
http://nissan4wheelers.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/90110091041/m/16510213441/p/1

unfortunately, i had to duck out early to avoid a potential problem with my then new suspension, and didn't stay for the full run. but- i did get a pretty good feel for what it was like. i would recommend bringing pleanty of water and some purification tablets to wash your face. as long as my head feels clean, i'm good to go.

the weather as awesome last year. if we are going to camp near payette (sp?) wash again, i want to bring an inner tube and float down that river in my trunks. haha.

That was Sycamore Creek that we camped by and no, we won't be anywhere near that.

Pyeatte Draw was where we camped the last two nights. There was water in that creek too, but not enough to tube in.

Last year was a bonus. That wash is normally dry for the most part.

I still haven't sorted out all the campsites for IX - we'll be doing that in the nexc couple months, but camping by water is a rarity in Arizona.
