The place we all went to up in Four Peaks was really nice. Dont remember how to get there exactly, you'll have to wait until DR or someone chimes in.

If you're in AZ, SWANKy is camping all next week....AZ Run VI.

Otherwise, there's unlimited good camping spots around. On top of 4 peaks is cool. Take El Oso road to the top, turn left at the radio towers and go back another couple miles, and there's a couple nice spots back there.

Go somewhere in Anza-BorregoState Park.500 miles of dirt roads for you to explore.
Hawk Canyon is secluded- it's west of Oco.

When he said "I am going next week" I assumed that he just meant "going camping". I suppose "going next week" could even mean Pee or smiley38.

AZ has TONS of remote spots you can get to. Depends on what type of terrain you want. Do you want to be near water for play, water for fishing, or don't care. (Water is going to be tuff to find these days, but not impossible. Another factor is...how long do you want to drive to get there. I personally like the Seven Springs area this time of year, though I haven't been up there since the fire, so I don't know if it even exists. You can use the campgrounds, or find several semi-secluded spots off the beaten path. If you want pines, you can head up on the Rim outside of Payson, or another good 'pine' spot is up by Flagstaff, south of Munds Park. I could quote spots for weeks, tells more of what your looking for.

I know this thread is old, but how about a small fishing spot with some light offroading/hillclimbing, in a woodsy type area??
Any suggestions? GPS coordinates would be very appreciated!
