im new to the site and the sport of offroadin, 4x4n and all that great stuff. I was wondering where are some good spots near phoenix that i can go and get my truck dirty and covered in mud?

depends on if we get rain or not. If it gets wet, the Table Mesa area north of town off Exit 236 on I17 is a good area.

Just stay on the trails, please, and since you're new to the sport, you should know that locally, our sport is in some jeopardy thanks to thoughtless idiots who go out and blaze their own trails and leave trash all over.

Google "tread lightly" - you'll find lots of info on being a responsible off road enthusiast, and participate in cleanups (or do your own) whenever you can. Welcome to the site and welcome to the sport.

thanks guys. i know not to go alone. i look at it like swimming. your gonna need someone to pull you out sooner or later. whether you think your good at it or not.
