We need to figure out where in Seligman we are staying on Saturday night. Marshall - I found a page that lists places to stay there - any of these sound familiar?? List

I'll always live for the nights I can't remember and the friends I'll never forget!

Plenty of time for the rooms especially for Saturday night not Friday.

But I'll check into that.

Okay. Last year we found this fun place for dinner the night before, had a blast, drank too much and played pool. It shares a parking lot with a motel, and we decided then that we would stay there this year.

This is the restaurant/saloon.

And the motel is Historic Rte 66 Motel. Talk to Jerry.

Rooms are 57.00 for two beds two or three people. 67.00 for two beds four people.

They have no website but the phone number is 1928 422 3204.

I'm reserving my room for Jason and myself tomorrow.

That's all going down from Hualapai Hilltop?
Neat!

On the topo,I see 3 campgrounds:
one by Navajo Falls, another near Havasu Falls, and one more about a half mile northwest of Fern Spring. Where are our res's on the res?

The campground is from Havasu Falls to Mooney Falls. It's a mile long, and all right by the creek.

Got it, thanks Marshall. So you really think we'll have the place all to ourselves?

Some Google Earth shots.

It is roughly a mile between the two falls and the campsite runs from right below Havasu to the edge above (literally) Mooney.

The Village

Here you can see the trial as it comes to Havasu Falls, where it splits to go to Havasu Falls. If you draw a line straight from the "H" to the left is the spot where I have taken three years worth of great shots.

See the little clearing where you stop seeing the trail just up from the Falls? That is the start of the campground and where the J-Johns and the drop for the bags on the mules are.

This shows from the village to Havasu Falls. Trail in comes from the bottom, through the village, past Fifty Foot Falls and Navajo Falls
