I remember being glad to see the little bench on the side of the trail half-way up that first hill out of camp  And taking a picture pretty much like the posted one from right there. And I remember how goooood the cold beer I had stashed in the car was when I got back to the parking lot. And I remember the crowd cheering for Old Chub as he RAN up the last switchback with his pack.-- If I were a medical man I would prescribe a vacation for any patient who thought their work important. |
