Magellan Crossover GPS

Road AND trail. That is hard to find. Leaves breadcrumbs etc.

On sale even for 389.00 ends today. Lists as 549.00 in the store. But lists at 399.00 from Magellans website.

Looks like it does everything I need it to do.

Meh.

That looks like a good unit. Let us know how you like it after you have had time to use it for awhile. I may want THAT instead of my Cobra.

Yeah it's hard to find one that does both.........

I read the whole manual last night before I bought it.

And REI will take it back no questions if I have any trouble.

Mine is primarily a in-hand trail unit.. but it doesn't get the greatest reception in woods. Does turn by turn driving directions, but you have to have a window open or it won't get a signal. Couple quirks, but I'm happy with it, all I want is the ability for an external antenna, which it don't have.

You know I thought it would be easier to find a unit that did both on and offroad.

Not.

And for the trails, until I found that crossover you are stuck with the hand helds.

Datz has a good one but lo and behold they don't make that one anymore. The market is ON road so that is what they make.

I'll review this one for everybody.
