Returned Monday from the annual pilgrimage to Havasupai. Don't miss out next year, or I may even go in the fall. Truly heaven on earth...

They don't do it justice.

It's the ultimate reconnect with yourself. Pushing yourself on the hike, the reward of the canyon walls, the village, the falls, the campground. The campground runs between the two falls and is under a canopy of trees that the creek runs through. You camp right next to the water. It's a somewhat surreal place, almost disney-esque.

Antelope Canyon needs to be next for me. It's been on my list for many moons.

Lemmie know when you want to do Antelope Canyon.

I have been wanting to do that since I was in Boy Scouts, then I got my Eagle Scout at 18, and haven't hiked since Frown

I would have to get in shape, lol

Nah- you don't need to be in shape for Antelope. It's an easy 1/2 mile walk in sand.
You just have to be thin enough to fit through the entry. I'll have to see if I can find that pic.

Next year Marshall, you can't exclude "us" from your plans and must return to the 3rd Annual Buca DeSupai trip that was named for you.
Come home Prodigal son.

BTW- WHO LET THE GIANT OUT OF HIS HOLE??
