Just checking in to see if the regulars have made it through. Luckily I'm just south of the big stuff but Columbus is pretty farked. No power anywhere. Lots of missing roofs on the north side of town. My parents still have power but that's it.

Good luck.
Check in.
Please?

I just noticed it's still gonna hit us early in the morning. Maybe 3am.

My internet connection won't survive. I know this for sure. Big Grin

Batten down the hatches! That was an Alabama slammer. Just severe t'storms and tornado watches here in south Mississippi.

Good luck to you, Will. I hope it goes easy on you.

Yeah, about 40 miles west of Savannah.

The panhandle is getting hit too. I haven't heard about any tornado issues though.

There hasn't been any rain for a few hours, but the wind is gusting pretty hard. The clouds are swirling around all crazy and sheeit, which is further enhanced by the alcohol I had earlier. I think I'll take some pictures.

Thanks Mr. 'rector

as I typed this something hit to roof really hard. Probably a drunk freshman.

At ~3am the wind got really bad. Stuff was flying down the street. I think there's a couple mailboxes missing. Otherwise we had it easy. I hear chainsaws in the distance so I guess there's some trees down.

My roommate moved his car to a "safer" spot, and seconds later a limb flew off the house and whacked his trunk lid. Ha!

I hope your family made it alright.

i'm in southern ontario and the precip hasn't stopped since yesterday at lunch. It went from snow to ice pellets to freezing rain, to rain overnight and this morning, now it's snowing again. Gusty winds the whole time. Southern ontario can have some crazy weather sometimes crazy

I'll have to wait and see. I'll be back in Florida next Friday. Hopefully my truck hade it without any hits. There are lots of trees where I parked my truck.

The neighborhood across the street from my highschool is farked up, as well as a bunch of businesses. DocP's old house has a missing roof.

A friend of mine had a tree fall through his house during Opel. He just moved to that neigborhood a couple months ago, and now has another tree in his house. What luck!

But nobody died; just one injury.
