Ive now got a bigger problem to worry about than trying to figure out what 2 put on the back half of my truck. I got in it walla go and it wont start. Getting plenty of gas, just no fire. I checked my coils and one is getting hots to both terminals (+ and -), the other isnt getting nothing. What could it be. Really need ur help here.

Well havent figured out the exact problem but did gett it running, I just bridged a wire from the + side of hot coil to the + side of the non hot coil. Started right up, but would like to fix the actual problem, have any ideas?

If everthing else is working, like trying to turn over, but not so. Check wires/sensors to your "cam positioning sensor" and/or "crank positioning sensor".

Easy fix for now, swap the coil wires. The dead coil is probably on the exhaust side, which means it ain't gonna fire. If however you swap the coil wires(the coil wire sto the distributor not the little positive negative ones) it should fire up just fine. Won't run great, be a little rough but it will work and drive. In reality it doesn't really matter which coil is hooked up to exhaust and which one to intake(only in design but in practice it's different, and this info comes form someone who has been racing one of these buggers or a LONG number of years and still does and still wins), but having them both hooked up is important for proper running. Keep in mind swapping the coil wires is just a temp bandaid to get it home or get where you need to go. Not healthy for it to do it in the long run, but in the short term, it's fine. It will get the truck home.
