So I got a 91 Sentra for free from my grandma who cant drive anymore. I've been using it to drive back and forth to work latley which has been saving me a crapload on gas. Anyway it likes to pop out of gear or something when going around turns. Its an auto (which I know little about) so what could be causing this and is it an easy fix (if not how hard is it to swap in a manual in a FWD car?)

The first thing I would do I change the tranny fluid. With Nissan trannys this usually helps out.

just drain and fill it a couple times- don't take it to a shop for a flush!

Don't follow those instructions verabtim. You will drive it around a day or two -between?

I usually put like 500 miles before I drain the oil again. Which is about 1 week of driving for me.
