Buddy of mine has a 1979 1/2 ton, 6 lug, Chevy Scottsdale 4x4 hes building. Wants to know the stock gear ratio came out in it? Looked on the build stickers and didnt see it no where. Please give all info u can. Also how hard would it b to install a 350 in my 720 and what all would i need and have to do?

look on the front or rear axle, there should be a tag on it with the ratio stamped on it. They offered quite a few ratios.... to put a 350 in...it's doable, but would be a lot of work. You would need the 350, and tranny and t-case that mated to it, then build custom mounts for them, get driveshafts made, etc. Plumbing and wiring shouldn't be too bad to make work. If you have power steering, you'll probably have to get custom hoses made...
