Mostly just the dash and taillights. Any 720 lift kit will work all the way up to 1986 (not 86.5, as that's a D21 Hardbody).
I know you decided against buying it, but the engine (if stock) is a Z22- the Z24 came out mid-year 1983. 720s are easier to body lift than a 620 basically because most (if not all) had U-joints in the steering shaft where 620s have a solid shaft (can't easily change the angle) $300? Too bad it's halfway across the country- can't find a rusted out running Datsun 4x here in WA under $500. --------------------------------------- STill stuck with one drive axle datsunaholic |

Ya well I have the Frontier to build up so it takes priority over anything else. If i just happen across an extra 300 then could sit here and wait for some attention.
Might call this week end too see if still got it, still rolling around my head a tad, escpecially with some axles avalable to me for almost nothing, be a sweet SAS Frankie Seifert MANC www.geocities.com/midwestallnissan Frontier_Cowboy@yahoo.com |

The datsun from 80-82 had a different suspension than the one from 83-early 86. you can still find a 2" suspension lift (a-arms) for the 83-86. Rancho is one I used to have. There is no lift out there for the early datsuns 80-82, except for body lifts. Rondo 2000 Nissan Frontier SE V6, front and rear dana 44s, King Coil front suspension, revolvers rear, 5.39 gears, ARB lockers, 6000Lb Warn winch, 4wheel disks, 35" Xterrain tires. See at pathfinderoffroad.com Other vehicle: '95 Jeep Wrangler, Detroit and lockright lockers, Ford 9" rear, Warn hub conversion front, 4.56 gears, 4wheel disks, 4:1 T-case conversion, 8000 Lb Ramsey winch, 33" Mastercraft Courser MTs See both at maxtire-4x4.com |

I found and bought an 83 Datsun 4x4 for 300 bucks in Everett, WA. I live in Longview, but it was worth the 400 mile drive. All it needed was a new carb. the body is almost perfect with grey primer. BTW, here is some lifts available for those years: 1980-83 3'' Body Lift: Body Lift 720's 3'' Suspension Lift: Suspension Lift If you need more parts urls, i have em. |

It is a 720 and no it's NOT the Z24. 81-83 Had the Z22(maybe 80 as well), then they went to Z24 through 86, and in 86.5 when the Hardbody came out it had a KA24E(same block different head and and such).
For 300 bucks that truck is a STEAL! I have an 82, great shape, paid 1400 for it, needed tires and an alignment. 300 bucks is cheap. Those trucks are going for a few grand around here in 4WD configuration. Michael QUIT CALLING MY TRUCK A TOYOTA! |

Almost forgot, yes there IS a lift for the 80-83, Automotive Customizers. www.4x4parts.com. It is add a leaf for the rear, with new tubular a-arms for the front which correct ball joint angle and such, thne crank your torsion bars. Plus some other stuff in the kit. Not a bad price either. IT's supposed to be a 3 inch lift. You can also get an extra 1.5 inches out of the front by using the Ball joint spacers for the tubular arms. So yes suspension lift is available for these trucks.

I always find it amazing, on EVERY board there is. New guy logs on, reads back 20 pages, replies to a thread as if it was 30 seconds old. EVERY forum, surely they've been on another forum previous to this to know that threads on back pages are way old.
