I got a dent under my door. [No Sliders yet but they are in the works ] So my question is are those infomerical Dent removers with the Hot Glue gun worth it i found it for 25 dollars. I was goin to drill a hole in the back and try getting it with a wooden dowel but there is no room at all. Any input appreciated!

If it is on the rocker panel, one of those infomercial dent pullers will not work. Those rocker panels are pretty heavy duty.

I'm gonna have to second Datz on this one... plus, you probably won't even be able to see the dents once the sliders are on Chug

I was thinking of getting one of those HF stud welders. Then I could use a slide hammer on the attached studs to pop out my dents.

DiD a little searching, and looks like the HF is crap. OTher vendors -
MotorGuard Magna-Spotter and the H&S Uni-Spotter are better quality

Remove the trim on the door sill. If you can't get a prybar in any of the holes that are there after removing the plastic screw inserts, make one in a strategic location.
If you have a King Cab and the dent is toward the rear, that's a snap; remove the jumpseat and trim and go to town on it.

First buy a welder
Second watch a video on how to weld (take like 10 minute)
Third practice on scrap metal
In no time at all you will be welding half way decent welds, then you only inprove from there.

I have a welder(stick and a gas set), I'm just afraid to weld on anything that requires structural strength. I know how to use the welder. Thats about it. Don't know anything more about welding.

Haven't tried to do a stick welder yet, I own a wire feed/MIG welder. And have done 10-20 projects and I trust my welds to a point. But when I was towed by the front bumper (that I welded) and didn't brake anything. I started to trust my ability a little more.

pop rivet a "skin" instead, then bondo to smooth things out.

that looks fubar, and that steel must be thicker.

Maybe if you heated the area, then used the slide hammer, you could pull it out.

Use a porta-power or bottle jack and a piece of steel flat bar to push the pinch joint back into place. Bear against the frame and push outward. Use the flatbar to spread the force so you don't just make more dents.

After you get the backside of the rocker box in the ballpark (somewhat flat), go in from the sill and drive it down.

Alternate the two methods until it is as close to normal as possible.

Hammer back any outward dents caused by pounding the inside of the rocker, the bondo from there.

Touch up the paint.

Add sliders.
