95 HB V6 3.0Ltr.4x4 Auto Tran 120,000 runs smooth once its warm. Can barely hear it run. make a little knocking when cold. Normal maintance {fuel filter, cap rotor- had original still on it when I bought it last september, plugs- some idiot put Auto-light plugs in it that were the incorrect heat range, Center link}. I will be doing the T.B. and water pump soon as I have no idea if it was replaced.

1.) driver side manifold (havent determined exact problem yet but i know its there)
2.) i geuss according to the guys who did my feul injector replacment that there is a main oil seal leak. whichas i understand would meen taking out the entire engine. (not gonna happen to much man work would cost me a fortune)

Hello everyone,
My name is Scott and I'm new here (first post actually). Just thought I'd chime in on this one.
My '88 SE as of right now has 284,402 miles on the Odometer. Original engine and tranny.
I recently replaced the clutch, not sure how many times that has happened in the past, but I would guess at least once or twice before.
Now I have had some problems (and a bit of luck related to said problems) in the few years I have owned it...
Started with idle poroblems that turned into surging and ultimatly indrivability (that a real word? lol) I listened to everyone else (and spent a lot of money doing so) before going with my original gut instint by replacing the main computer... problem solved.
Also had the RH camshaft break on me.. much the same effect as a timing belt breaking. I really lucked out on that one, other than the cam and belt, there was no other damage!

Ok I guess that's it for now, later...

i bought an 86.5 nissan hardbody v6 4x4 with 47,000 miles on it. last owner used it for a ranch work truck. unknown if engine rebuilt because ranch trucks here in texas are exempt from mileage/emissions tests. only problem i've had is that there is a leak somewhere in the exhaust

94 suburban 4x4, plan on a diesel swap with a manual tranny, 6" lift, maybe rear steering

Exhaust leaks at the manifold are common. I am putting headers on mine to solve that issue. I hope.

Hi,
'92 Pathy, 4wd, 5spd, w/142k. Engine to axle is all original (tires went to 31s early spring). No problems except exhaust manifold (you know) and TS and MAF connections (think I've taken care of them for another 10K). Clutch is fine, but planning to replace it as a preventive measure because I tow a bass boat. I have a complete new exhaust w/headers and all new poly bushings to install as well.

My 89 Pathy has 211,000 on it and runs great but makes a little valve slapping sound when pushed. Doesn't use oil though and I've confidently gone drove to my parents home 4 hrs away and back.

My girlfriend's gramma's 89 Maxima has 236,000 and it runs like a sewing machine.

Was a 94 Hardbody rig, then a 2wd 89 Pathy that sucked, now a 2000 Frontier King Cab 4x4
