well i know pretty much everyone is solid axle , but does anyone know how to take apart the cv's from the axle on ifs?
i got one side off it had a snap ring but the other side doesnt have a snap ring and cant figure out to get the cv off

It would help a lot if you could post a picture.

On my 95 Nissan once you took off the boots you could take the cv apart without much problems. Sometimes the outboard part of the cv can be a pain.

Have you stock checked a cv. Last time I replaced the cv's on my truck they were only $50 for the new ones.

sorry i got it all figured out , i had to use a slide hammer on the wheel side , there is an internal snap ring , thats the side i was having problmes with but all is good now
