I have a '79 620 Datsun, and I want to keep it 2wd. However, I would like to beef it up with some sort of limited slip differential. I saw a rear end for sale for a 720 84-'85 4WD.Z24 37/9. Would that would be a good choice for my truck?

oh wow, Talk about bringing some old school knowledge in. A Datsun 620 Is before my time. As fare as I can go back is a early 720. I've had 2 different 80-82 Datsun 720 trucks. One was 2wd auto and the other was 5-speed manual 4x4. Neither trucks had LSD's installed.

You either have a h190 or R190 read axle. It's pretty much impossible to find a LSD for the H190. IF there is one it was bought and installed after market.

As for the 720 axles, They have never given us any problems. There's still a few 720's fooling around in the family.
