Is it a crew cab or desert runner? If so, it would work but you'll need to check the gearing. If the axle code is an HG46, you're set.

You will need to cut and reweld spring perches though, as 2wd's have the leaf springs under the axle instead of over like on your '98.

You are aware that you can get an ARB locker for your existing C200 rear axle, correct?

About the same as it would be for any other axle....

$700 for the locker
$150-200 for the air compressor
$200-250 for the installation

Install the compressor and wiring yourself to save $$.

TRy posting in "BASE CAMP", or the club area of the forum. It's organized by geographical area.

It's about who gets to decide: how much energy we will have... where that energy will come from... what it will cost... I haven't ordered anything for my pathy yet but I will order from the advertisers when I do. If ordering from them keeps this website around it is worth it. Thanks. It is hard to explain to people that you want to modify your Nissan. haha.

Old thread. From my experience if I order from our advertisers customer service is always great and the club discount is awesome. On many occasions I've ordered parts and received $20+ off price quoted with the club discount.

ABCNissan just hooked me up - they're shipping a torsion bar anchor to my door for less than half of what my neighborhood Nissan parts department wanted for it.
