hey i just bought a 2.4L king cab and i did not expect it to have alot of power in the first place but i thought it would have more than it does now. and for some reason i am only getting about 16mpg is that normal for my truck or shouldent i be getting more like 30mpg. my truck is in the shop right now and i am getting my O2 censor replaced btu if that does not help does any one have any suggetions for me.
i already changed my air filter and i do regular maintenance on my truck so all my fluids are changed. my truck is a 4WD so maybe it should not get 30mpg but it should still get better than 13mpg and i have stock tire size on right now even tho that will change when i get some money. so i do not know what is wrong i hope the O2 censor will help.
with a 4wd the best your going to get is 15-18MPG. My 2wd 4cyl gets 18 around town and 25 on the interstate.
Also you have to lay off the gas with Nissan. If you floor it at every light a Nissan engine will eat you out of pocket. You pretty much got to take it easy all the time or your going to get 13-15mpg.
