I'm just getting around to posting this. To make a long story short, I flopped my Pathfinder on the passenger side while trying to go up a small hill w/2ft ledge.
Bad line, too much skinny pedal, and bad UCA Bushings/upper & lower ball joints resulted in... Damage-some new dents on pass side rear compartment window pillar & pass side front door, and broken pass side mirror...I was lucky! After getting it upright, it started without any problems and I finished the day wheeling. Mick |

Wow! Glad youre okay, and so is the truck. Guess you got some work to do now though, and a hill to go back and conquer!

I've since fixed the damage that is going to be fixed...primarily the passenger side mirror. The remaining dammage will just add to the other pre-existing "character marks" on my pathfinder.

Look at it this way; at least NOW you have gotten your flop out of the way. I have yet to do mine.
Glad to hear the damage was minimal. |

I would say it is time you get a Exo cage put on. -Mr. Goat- One way to fix a jeep is to shoot the driver |

You would say that, since your building one! Honestly, I'm not going to put anything besides routine maintenance into this Pathfinder. North Eastern winters are extremely hard on vehicles. I don't anticipate this Pathfinder lasting too many more years of being driven through the winters...besides, I've only had time to wheel twice so far this year. I really just need to pay better attention when I do offroad! Both times I flopped definately could have been avoided, if I would have been paying better attention. Mick |

Were you able to roll up your window? I bent my railing pretty bad when I flopped mine. Bent the railing bad and had to get another door :X

I could put the window up w/assistance...The area where the mirror attaches through the door was damaged and pinched the window track. I used a small pry bar & large screw driver to pry the slot open again. The passenger window is working fine now. Mick |
