Hey guys I am going to replace my radiator on my 87 D21 z24. I'm trying to figure out what Nissan/Infiniti oem radiators are bigger but still have both connections on the right side. Thanks for the help.

I replaced my original in my 86.5 with an aftermarket part.
Aparently, VatoZone stocks a one-size-fits-all radiator for our trucks. The one I got was thicker and it had the tranny cooler section in the bottom. It fit like a glove and cools better, so I have no complaints.
They had it in stock for $125 out the door. I suspect that a V6 model would require the extra thickness. Anyhow, the one I got was twice as thick, though it was still a single row. Original was about 1/2" thick. Replacement is about 1".

Maybe I can use the tranny cooler part for a water heater. Hey! That's not a bad idea.....

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Yeah, my cousins work at 1-800-radiator. I know they supply a local parts shop, and Napa. They might supply VatoZone. Apparently they have three different sized radiators but yeah I was trying to figure out if there was another oem that was just a good bit bigger. I blame my friends that are drifters. All the 240 drifters like to use Altima radiators and what not. I guess there's not much else out there for me. Tomorrow afternoon is getting spent removing the old cracked one and putting in whichever one my cousin brings over to me.

The automatic radiator will be bigger due to the higher demands from the automatic.

If you could make a V6 Hardbody radiator work you'll have overkill colling.

I thought about taking off the fan blade and running electric fans, might give me an extra HP or two.. lol
