I have a 86.5 d21 ext cab 4x4 and I found a 93 2wd hardbody, I measured the beds and mine is 3/4" longer, my question is, will the bed from the 93 fit on my 86.5? also, what about the doors, fenders, hood..thanks

Not sure if the doors will fit. I believe they might have changed the hinge design in the 90's. Dunno....
Fenders will fit, but 2WD fenders dont bulge out like 4WD fenders do...so they are different. Hood should fit, but the 93 should have the power bulge hood while the 86 has the three slots in the front. Scott 86.5 HB SE-V6 KC 4x4 86.5 HB Longbed XE 91 Chevy 1500 Sport |

this is kinda old, but hope it helps you..
I took my 91 2wd body and put it on a 86.5 4wd frame.. everything bolted up just fine.. (was a regular cab.. to reg cab frame.. If you have ext cab and ext frame you should be ok... 91 HB in the middle of a 4WD Conversion  |
