depending on the state that u live in it migth be illegal for you to do so for inspection purposes, because the exaust needs to emit out from under the vehicle \

everyone on here that has put on an exhaust most likly doesnt have that anymore. it probly wont do much just make it a lil bit louder. it shouldn't make it sound like crap.

You want your exhaust pipe to stick out 3" past the body of your truck. If your exhaust pipe is under your truck. Exhaust gases will get trapped underneath your body, slowly rusting your frame and body.
The biggest problem with exhaust underneath the car/truck is carbon monoxide gets inside the cab. Making you or passengers feel sick.
The reason for having the tail pipe to stick past the body of the vehicle 3" is so the exhaust gases get caught up in the wind and do not recycle back into the truck.
