looked on the sticker bythe door and it say its a hg39. which rear is that?

That would be an H233b rear axle, but the 39 part doesn't sound right if its a 4x4. A "39" would mean ~3.90:1 gears.
Usually for a 4x4 truck, the H233b axle code is HG43 or HG46, which would be 4.33:1 or 4.63:1.

the only 2wd that got the h233b were the SEV6 Heavy duty 1-ton pick-up trucks.
In any case 3.9 would be a really low gear for a 1-ton truck.
