Hey guys Im new to this site as well as to the 4x4 community, Just picked up a 97 single cab hardbody this past weekend and probably my biggest complaint is the bench seat, (seems like mosts people's problem with the single cab)

I used the search and read up on some posts about it minimizing leg room, being about 6' that may or may not be too much of a problem but does anyone have pics of this swap by any chance? Thanks in advance!

Matt

Find a set of 88-95 Pathfinder buckets or buckets from a king cab. You'll sit quite upright, but it still beats the bench by a mile.

One of the best swaps I've done. The seats I mentioned will bolt right in.

I can be in Donalsonville GA in about 20 minutes. The reason i want the bench is so that my wife and kid can ride in my truck if need be b/c the wifey wont ride in the fold out seats in the back and my youngin is too small still to be out of a carseat. If the seat is in really bad shape ill have to pass. If it just has a stain or 2 and a small hole then that is fine b/c i will put a seat cover over it. Is your's a manual shift seat that has the little dip in the front of it?

Hey man I just sent you some pictures, Ill have to see how far donalsonville is for me. But my seat has two tiny holes and a small tear on the side which you'll see, they are cleaner than I thought once I started looking it at. You'd be wanting to get rid of the center colnsole too right?

Hey the seat aint too bad, do you have the seat belt and all for the center part of the seat? Yes i would be getting rid of the console also. Does the bench sit real low or does it sit up like the bucket seats do? I can get some pics of mine also later after work.
