It would be consisered a 2.5 litre. Is it turbo?

We don't get those diesels over here in the states, unfortunately. God knows we would love to if they were available tho!

Cheers for that 2.5cc, no it hasnt got a turbo.
Its the best thing i have ever driven in my life. In the uk i have only seen the d21 2wd, you dont see many of them about. But since doing my research on the net, im so glad to find a site that i can share my passion with.
Do you know possibly the engine model mine might have at all? Big Grin

The engine should be a SD series. All the Datsun 720 diesels had the sd22 I think. I'm going to assume you've got a SD25 Nissan diesel. Diesel hardbody's never made it to the states.

I for one am jealous, very jealous. Very nice truck, should run for a long time. I wish we had that here.

If you take a picture of the engine we can help identify it.

And if you could do me a favor of taking a picture of the rear axle, leaf springs, and front suspension?

I am working to put 3/4ton suspension under mine.

Again, awesome truck!

they used the SD22 & SD25 in the 720's
take a look on the firewall or the inner structure for a metal tag, it should have all the vitals.. engine size etc..

Cool, looks like a c200 rear end. As for the engine I'm not sure. It looks like its naturally aspirated and not a turbo, is that correct?
