now its waiting time. last week I ordered 3" SL, steering, lock-rite(rear) and LSD(frt) for my truck from Calmini. hopefully I wont have to wait 3 months for it. if that is the case I guess I start working on the body mods I want to do. ordered a mig welder as well. got to love uncle sam this time of yr.

If you have a 4 banger truck, you have an R180 front axle. Is the front LSD you ordered the Calmini one for an R200?

They make this one for the R180. I wish I was rich like Dave. I suppose I am richer for having wheeled with him.

its a 4 banger. I dont think Nissan put 6s in the 96-97 trucks. I did tell them it was a R180 frt axle, and the rear is a H233b but dont know what splines, axle code is HG46 so hopefully the lock-rite is correct as well.

the lock right wont work with your rear diff. All 96*-97 hardbody h233b axles received a 2pinion diff.

call automotive customizers up and ask for a LSD.

I saw your post about calmini on another forum. Calmini used to have s*itty customer service but fast shipping. Now they have better service but slow shipping. Keep in mind it is tax season and everyone els in the world is ordering parts for their nissan from calmini too. Service and shipping is going to be slow right now. There's only 2 places or after market support for Nissan trucks.

2 spider, not 2 pinion.

gotcha, so should I just weld the spiders or what, I'm not to keen on the idea of welding the diff because its a DD which is why I ordered the lock-rite, do they make a locker for these yrs.

Yeah, a lockrite should install in an open '96 carrier.

That's a better option than welded gears for sure.

Thats about average for calmini. ~2 weeks for shipment. It took them two weeks to ship my spring hangers and I was calling every other day about shipping.

it dont matter as long as its here in a decent time, UPS shows it in delivery status. should be there when I get home. AWESOME
