I have the opportunity to get a Nissan radio with 3 disk CD (came from someone's 240sx so they could upgrade). Before I get the unit I need to know if this will work in my truck without modifications. Has anyone upgraded their truck radio with a better Nissan radio and if so what modifications were needed? thanks
It's been a couple months since I've seen the inside of a 95, but I think you can pull out that little box thing and a DIN2 will fit.
You might try asking a stereo place about it. Just make sure they know it's a 1995 cause the interior is different on 93+ trucks. My 1992 has no room for a DIN2.

it will bolt in, but the plugs may be different. my brother's '95 sentra radio has a different connector on it than my '95 pickup. but you can easily wire the radio up.
I am still undecided on what to do due to speaker selection problem (essentially I want to add bigger speaker yet it may interfer with folding down jump seats). For now I will keep what I have until I settle the speaker issue.
The factory speakers will sound a little better once you get more power to them. We put a pioneer 35x4 unit in and the back speakers sounded a lot better than they did with the stock head unit in a 1995 ext cab. But don't know what the power rating is on yours or the one you are looking at to tell you if this might help without having to find new speakers
