What do you guys think about putting a TM lift on my HB? Pros vs. Cons??
A guy is selling a kit on the 4x4parts site, and I'm thinking about it.... http://www3.gratisweb.com/checoyroxy/ChecoyRoxipink.html "Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." - Words of Wisdom |

As far as I know, the major con is that it drops your torsion bars down so they are vulnerable to becomming "rock food" other than that, it is a good kit, just a little on the pricey side. You can actually stack lifts using the TM lift along with an A-arm lift to get about 6-7" of susp lift. If the price is right and it is the complete kit(includes all parts) I would go for it.

Go for it bradah!
As orange4ska said, the torsions appear to hang low with the TM lift. But in fact, they stay at the same location as stock... everything else moves up 4". Don't forget, if you have the KA24E with R180 front differential, you will need Trail Master's kit #8040 to relocate the front differential. Torsion bar mounts are still rock food despite their position. They loose the protection that the frame provides. That said, I'll be something could be fabbed up to help that....Like some custom skids.

Well, I'm thinking about it. $600 is a lot of money. I'll see if I can talk him down a little (or a lot) hehe
